Shepherd's Bush SAL

Several months ago, Becky posted her beautiful finish of SB Sail Away. I liked it so much that I e-mailed her and asked if I could borrow the pattern for it. Well if you have the pleasure of knowing Becky, you know that she is a very generous person. A week or two later, I received a surprise gift in the mail from Becky. She had gone ahead and purchased the kit for me, and had Shepherd's Bush ship it to me.

When Becky mentioned that she was going to be stitching a Shepherd's Bush piece, I suggested that we do a SAL. Yesterday was our first day; we'll be stitching on Tuesdays. Here is a picture (clickable) of what I accomplished.

Today's mail brought a lovely ornament from Donna for our first round of our Christmas Ornament Exchange Group. I think you'll agree that Donna's stitching and finishing are perfect. I'm looking forward to hanging this beauty on my tree.

Thank you so much for paying me a visit. I hope you have a safe, and relaxing Labor Day holiday.

Hello my friend !
I finally managed to post here, so I'm happy that I can give you some news. I will have no web access for about 2 or 3 weeks, I had troubles again for about a week now, so I don't know which of my messages you got. I'll be sending this week my first parcel to you, several will come (I'm sending them not all at the same time for the customs don't bother you).
There will be the anise inside, 1rst bag + book + salt ;-) then the next one will leave a week later, and then I believe there will be another one, as long as the chocolate is quite heavy LOL
I will not go much to the cybercafe because of JC's wages being so low. I miss you, and wanted you to know we are safe, just in the middle of another home improvement/web mess/silly life session... Hugs++++
I'll try to send a message as soon as I can to give more private news ;-)

Thanks for stopping by my blog Julieanne. The pinkeep you liked was by Diane Williams and issued in the Leisure Arts book, Joy of the Journey which is now out of print.
