Party In the Barnyard!

I just put the last stitch in my 8th (and final) ornament from The Prairie Schooler's leaflet Barnyard Christmas. I started working on this project ages ago. I really enjoyed stitching these ornaments. I just love the colors. Which one is your favorite? Mine has to be the cat. I just love the bird in the design.

I stitched my first design from the new Prairie Schooler leaflets. This one is from Sunny Days and I knew it had to be a birthday gift for my good friend Becky. The backstitched bees were so much fun to stitch.

Thanks so much for paying me a visit.

I think my favorite is the dog. I have that leaflet and need to make a few ornies from it too. Love the gift you made for Becky - I am working on Mr Sunshine from that leaflet now. :o)

For me it's a tie between the cat and the sheep. Nice collection all the way around, though. Glad you posted a picture of the whole group.

I'm with you on the cat being the cutest, Julianne, but they are all so darling... Wonderful gift for Becky, too--I really like the way you did the yellow trim :)

Your PS ornies are beautiful, Julianne. I LOVE the dog and all of the colors in each one.

Your stitching and yellow finish on the ornament for Becky are lovely. I'm sure she treasures her treat.

I always feel so "accomplished" when I finish a piece like Barnyard that has been in the works for awhile, don't you? GREAT JOB!

Oh my, they are all so great. I just love Prairie Schooler. I can't say which one I love best, maybe the cat as well because of the bird, or maybe the cow, lol. It's just a wonderful series. I'm very curious to see how you will finish them.
