My Third "12 Days" Finish

Above is the most my most recent finish for this long term project. I'm sort of running out of steam. I just haven't been in a stitching mood lately.

My younger daughter is home from college this week on spring break. I'm spending most of my free time in the kitchen making some tasty meals. She is getting pretty tired of dorm food.

I replaced my food processor that I've had since my kids were little. I got a new Kitchen Aid 12 cup food processor and so far I'm really liking it. Today, I'm going to give pie crust a try. Cherry pie is on the menu. YUM!

Enjoy your Sunday and thanks for paying me a visit.

  1. Another great finish Julianne. I think we all go through phases of not wanting to stitch. You should only do it when you want to or it becomes a chore not a pleasure.

BTW I hope you got the e-mail I sent you on 24 Feb.

  10. I'm also lacking a bit in stitching mojo; I think I'm in spring clean mode! :D
I think I also have my finishing backlog hanging over me. :/

This finish is beautiful--boy, do I love PS!

I'd really like a food processor. I bookmarked a recipe for Famous Nabisco Wafers (like oreo w/o cream), but you need a food processor to cut the butter into it. Hope your pie turned out wonderfully! I think I'll head to the kitchen for a late lunch myself.

  11. Beautiful finish! Very curious about your long term project. Sometimes we just need a break from stitching to recharge our batteries. Sounds like you are being creative in the kitchen instead!

  12. What a cute finish! And don't worry about losing that stitching mojo, it happens to all of us at one time or another. Just make the most of your daughter's visit.
