The teenage boy who lives there came running across the street and proceeded to punch Owen in the head, in an attempt to get him to release the little dog.
Owen suffered a fractured skull from the forceful blows. Fortunately, his brain and eye are going to be ok.
This has truly been a nightmare and unfortunately the neighbor has refused to take financial responsibility. It looks like there are court dates in my future :(
Thank you for your concern for Owen.
Oh goodness Julianne how awful for you. Surely your neighbour could have let you control the situation and rescue the little dog from Owen. I hope that Owen recovers well. Sending healing thoughts. Ally xxx

ReplyDeleteWhat an awful thing! It just riles me when people don't take proper care of their animals and then refuse to take responsibility for the results. I hope poor Owen recovers quickly and suffers no lasting effects from the incident. I'm sure you are an emotional wreck, too. Take care of your little guy.
